I am very passionate about the care I provide to my clients. I like to treat everyone the same way I care for my parents. I started care work in 2013 and have a range of experience working with clients suffering from Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Dementia, Stroke, MS and Learning Difficulties. I am a huge animal and wildlife lover and like to spend my time walking, reading or meeting friends in coffee shops. I hope that I can be of assistance to you, please just send me a message. My rate starts from £12/ hour but varies depending on the level of care needed.
When I interviewed Cassie her enthusiasm, kindness and bubbly personality shone through. I believed she and our daughter who is 23 years old, non-verbal, wheelchair user with Rett Syndrome would be a perfect match and how true that has turned out to be. Cassie started a long-standing contract with us and over the past 7 months has proved herself to be professional, reliable and a total delight. Within a couple of weeks of starting work with us, Cassie and our daughter had developed a wonderful rapport and the sound of laughter was soon resonating throughout the house. Cassie has been excellent with hoisting and bath-time and with dealing with our daughter’s dissociative seizures as well as, on one occasion, an epileptic seizure. In our experience, to find the combination of professionalism and genuine care that Cassie brings is rare. I could not recommend her more highly.
Cassie is a real gem and has now been helping my elderly mother for the last four months. I live 100 miles away and gain great peace of mind from knowing that my Mum is in such good hands. Cassie is reliable, honest, an excellent communicator, bright and bubbly and really cares about the welfare of her clients . She is sensitive to the needs of others and will offer suggestions of things they might like or that could be helpful rather than dictating how they will be treated. She is always willing to go the extra mile and if there's an urgent need will step in to help at short notice. She pays attention to detail and will take responsibility for resolving any day to day situations that arise, from talking to the pharmacy about problems with dispensing medication to buying a pint of milk on her way to visit. All in all I would highly recommend Cassie as a carer, and she can even bring her dog if you want some time with a furry friend!
My husband, who has Parkinson's, and I were privileged to have Cassie and her adorable Toy Poodle, Baxter, visit us at home. Cassie is an absolute delight; her bubbly personality, easy rapport and enthusiasm for her invaluable work made her an instant hit with us. Add to that the dearest little dog who enriched our day by his presence. Thank you HomeTouch for providing such a wonderful Duo to brighten my husband's day. Thank you Cassie and Baxter; long may you bring smiles and joy to people whose lives are compromised by ill health ....... my husband, and I, will never forget you.
Cassie has a bright and cheerful personality and is completely reliable, honest and enthusiastic. She cares about the welfare of her clients and is sensitive to their needs. She is also a great support to their families. I have valued her support and common sense and would highly recommend her.
Cassie is a very reliable and professional carer. I have called upon her at short notice to provide live-in care for my mother and she has pulled out all the stops to make it happen and cover all the dates I have needed whilst still providing carer services to her other clients. Cassie has taken the trouble to learn about my mother's condition to the extent where she has even obtained training from my mother's specialist unit and learnt how to connect and disconnect my mother to her night-time machine. She is very patient and has been an excellent carer for my mother, she really takes the time to get to know her clients and has a can-do attitude which is very reassuring.
