Hi, my name is Sandra and I was a registered General Nurse in Latvia and finished my nursing qualifications in 1999. I have been working as a carer in the UK for over 13 years. I have worked in many different environments such as hospitals and private homes. I am experience in Dementia care, brain injury care, Parkinson's, Palliative care, Elderly care, and Cancer care. I love my job because I like to make difference for my clients life whether it is taking them to cinema, shopping or traveling out of country. Or just the little things like being around to accompany them or just watch TV or cook their favourite meal. It makes me happy to see them smile. I am a very active person, I like exercising and sports. I love spending time outdoors and enjoy gardening, walking and kayaking, mainly anything I can do on a sunny day. I also love travelling, good films and going to the theatre. Thanks for viewing my profile and I look forward to speaking to you.

Sandra Amina was a member of a small team of carefully selected carers for my elderly bedridden mother in her flat for just under two years She was often alone on duty and responsible for all my mothers personal needs at such times. Sandra demonstrated total meticulousness about matters of hygiene and personal care, and at times when was on day duty she also went to considerable trouble to make sure that my mother ate properly prepared meals which she cooked herself. Sandra treated my mother, despite her physical incapacity and her 98 years, with great kindness, patience and attention. As a carer she has been truly outstanding and I strongly recommend her to you without any reservation, you will not often meet a carer with such a devotion to her work.
