I have worked in the care industry for almost 10 years. After working as a carer and as a student nurse, I qualified as an adult nurse in 2011 and have predominantly worked in nursing home environments. In the past years I had managerial and clinical lead nurse roles looking after a spectrum of residents who suffered from dementia, Parkinson's and several mental health problems. I have extensive experience in working with clients who require palliative care as well as working as part of an multidisciplinary team with physios, dietitians, occupational therapists and doctors for future planning care of clients. I am competent in urinary catheter care and maintenance as well. I have the ability to empathise with clients and treat them as you wish your loved ones to be treated. I'm an avid gym goer, I enjoy swimming, water sports such as kayaking. I also love to organise charity events which I have done independently for organisations such as Cancer Research. My schedule is flexible so please get in touch if you're looking for an experienced carer in the Brighton area.
